Fairytale of Urban Guild

Last weekend we celebrated Small Business Saturday, a campaign to support our local highstreet heros.  Check out all the great people working super hard amongst your local community.

Now, we know that choosing a gift can be tricky. Unlike all those big corporate companies churning out mass produced products, we are committed to creating unique, one-off and personal gifts. Gifts that are handmade with love and care.  So why not check out what the Urban Guild Christmas shoppe has to offer.

Now let me tell you a little story about Urban Guild’s journey in the run up to Christmas... Once upon a time in the land of Bournemouth, a team of wonderful humans set about to bring joy, through their love of curating a range of gifts.

In the early hours of the morning (yes, before the sun has even risen) Kay can be seen hard at work baking. After delicate decoration, wonderful gingerbread houses, trees, and reindeer stand  beautifully wrapped ready to be munched on throughout the festive season.

Not quite as early, but still at the crack of dawn, Simon can be seen whizzing around juggling lots of different alcoholic drinks. Working on his six pack of Urban Guild craft beer, brewed by Eight Arch brewery, he packages them into handy holdall boxes.

Collaborating with local drink experts, from across Dorset, we can proudly present... drum roll please... our Urban Spirit cocktail kits. Along with some helping hands, the kits are carefully arranged in their boxes, ready to be delivered with love.

The crew at Bad Hand coffee gather in the town centre, and can be seen roasting our Urban Guild Guatemalan blend. They then disperse both on foot and bicycle as they deliver the beans for that perfect pick-me-up.  To complete the coffee creation Urban Guild have designed their own environmentally friendly, rice husk coffee cup.

None of these tickled your tinsel? Well, if you just simply love our venues, grabbing that cappuccino or putting your feet up at Urban Beach Hotel then why not gift your loved ones with a voucher (you can order this as late as Christmas morning)!
