Part of our ethos here at Urban Guild is supporting independent businesses. From our staff, to our producers and suppliers, we aim to get as many independently made products into our venues so we can pass on that genuine care and home-grown quality to all of you.
It’s so exciting to find companies that share our passions. Hence why we are so proud of the strong relationship we have with Warner Distillery. Similar to us, Warner are a family business, who have set themselves the challenge of saving the world from mediocre gin!
Their team is always hard at work making sure their operation is running smoothly and putting as much care into their products as possible. Their hardest worker is Executive Morale Officer (Leia). Okay maybe not the hardest working, but definitely the cutest, and you can even find her posing on Warner’s new bottle design, so she has to be pretty important x
One of the reasons their gin is so excellent is the location of production. Warner Distillery is based out of Falls Farm. In simple terms, it’s stunning. It’s got idyllic landscapes, fruitful crops and a bunch of wonderful humans. Thanks to these gems, Warner are able to draw water from their own spring, grow their own gin botanicals, and even collect fresh honey from their beehives.
Out of all of their amazing products, we’re most excited about their new raspberry flavour (it’s super exclusive)! It’s fruity, refreshing and the perfect drink to accompany the incredible Bournemouth weather. AND we’re one of the first venues on the south coast to have it on our bar, for you wonderful people.
This gin “tells the story of our countryside heritage and farming traditions over centuries, and, for many holds memories of foraging on country walks.” Every bottle is one third fresh raspberries and blackberries as well as hand-picked hedgerow elderflower and it acts as the perfect partner for Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic water and a few fresh raspberries. How gooood does that sound?
And the best part is...we’ve got it! That’s right, you can venture down to the heart of Lower Gardens and pull up a chair on the tree-hidden terrace with a mean-green view you can’t get anywhere other than Urban Garden. Ask the bar staff for Warner’s new raspberry gin and watch their faces light up x
