We decided Lemon Curd needed a makeover. And seeing as how it's coming up to Christmas, we figured it was a good excuse to get a bit boozy while we were at it.
Our Grapefruit Gin Curd goes a bit like this. Take sugar, proper butter and free range, organic eggs from our local egg supplier. Mix over a bain-marie. Top up with fresh, tart grapefruit juice and a hearty glug of gin and leave to cool. It's a simple recipe, made with incredible ingredients, and jarred up generously for your eating (or is it drinking?) pleasure.
