What are we like?
We love hospitality. It is what gets us out of bed in the morning and it’s the reason Mark Cribb opened the Urban Beach Hotel 14 years ago. Since then, the Urban Guild group of venues has grown to include Urban Reef restaurant, The Wood Oven, Jenkins & Sons and our newest site Urban Garden which we are now recruiting for.
We will invest in your development, imparting some hospitality tekkers from day one, with potential to grow and level-up skills as a bartender, barrister, waiting tables, wine, food, the possibilities are all there; We’ll make sure opportunity is your friend.

What's on offer? We're currently searching for the following roles:
"Breakfast is the most important meal of the day"
We're currently recruiting for breakfast chefs to add to our new brigade at Urban Garden.
You'll definitely be an early morning person. Shifts start at 0700 and finish at 1400. Ideally we're looking for 7 days cover so both full time and part time work is available.
Urban Garden caters for around 200 covers for a busy breakfast with bookings & passing trade. You'll be confident cooking to those numbers. Food Safety Level 2 is preferable, but training is given to the right candidates.
The ideal candidate for any role within The Urban Guild will;

In addition to this the role of the Assistant Manager is, with the support of the General manager, to ensure that fantastic service and meal experience is delivered to customers and guests. Achieve the required levels of sales turnover and profit.
Running day to day service you will have the overall responsibility for achieving the quality of service by developing and managing a well trained, customer orientated team. The team must work in tandem with their colleagues in to deliver a high quality meal experience compliant with all the standards of Food Safety and Service.
Dean was our Executive Chef for the Urban Guild and. Now he's one of the best Development Chefs out there and is about to embark on a very exciting new role, which we can't say on here just yet, but WOW!
Maria was one of our Bar Managers and led the amazing team at Urban Reef. Now she's roaring through the clouds ensuring that passengers are cared for even at 40,000ft with Norwegian Air
